David was born in Nova Scotia, although son Eber claimed in the 1880 census that it was Connecticut. No information on his parents.
Huldah was born in Nova Scotia as well, in a part that’s now in New Brunswick. Findagrave.com claims her parents were Asa Kimball, Sr. (15 Jun 1738-1800) and Huldah Tapley (1738-????), who married in Topsfield, Essex County, Massachusetts on 15 Jul 1760. There were several Kimball families in Bridgton (or Bridgeton, or Bridgetown), Cumberland County, Maine where Huldah and David later lived.
David and Huldah married in the early 1780s, presumably either in Nova Scotia or in Maine.
Most of their children were listed as born in Bridgton, although Asahael and Stephen were also listed as born in “Barton St. John, Maine”, which doesn’t still exist by that name. The 1790 census recorded two David Porter families in Bridgetown, one with three children and one with four. Our David was presumably the one with three children, but there’s so little information in this census that it doesn’t matter.
The 1800 and 1810 censuses showed just one David Porter family in Bridgton. Son Eber was reportedly born in Denmark, Oxford County, but that’s not far from the larger town of Bridgton. In both records, the ages of the parents and children don’t quite fit, but it was almost certainly them, allowing for some careless reporting of the details.
Huldah died in Bridgton in 1825. Findagrave.com claims she’s buried in Bartlett Cemetery, East Bethel, Oxford County, Maine, the same place as her parents.
The 1820, 1830, and 1840 census records don’t include a David Porter in the right age range and right area of Maine. He was probably living with one of his sons by then.
In 1847, David died in Calais, Washington County, Maine, where his son Eber lived. He’s buried in Calais Cemetery there.
Asahael married Hannah ??? (1782-31 Dec 1819). They lived in Denmark, Oxford County, some 10 miles southwest of Bridgton. They had three children of record, although there might have been others:

Hannah died in late 1819. Asahael promptly remarried to one Sarah Walker (28 May 1794-9 Aug 1824). The 1820 census listed the family with two boys age 10-15 (one of whom was Asahael Jr.), a girl age 10-15, and a girl under 10. That doesn’t quite square with the list of known children. Asahael and Sarah appear to have had at least one child (although Julia’s death record claimed Sarah as her mother):

Sarah died in 1824. On 28 Nov 1827, Asahael married Mehitable “Hitty” Bragdon (~1795-????) in Fryeburg, Oxford County. The 1830 census showed them, no children, in Denmark. Can’t find them in 1840. However, there are records indicating they did in fact have two children, the first born before their marriage:

In 1850, Asahael (66) and Mehitable (55), both listed as “pauper”, were living with the Snow family in Denmark. Their daughter Ruth was living with her husband’s family in Biddeford, Maine, and their son Daniel was living with his wife’s family in Ossipee, New Hampshire. In 1860, Asahael (supposedly 80) and Hitty (65) were with the Smith family, still in Denmark and still labeled as paupers. Asahael died in 1861 and is buried with first wife Hannah and son Asahael Jr. in Hio Ridge Cemetery, Bridgton, Cumberland County. No further record of Hitty.
Most of the children settled in Massachusetts. Daughter Julia is buried in Melrose, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Daughter Ruth is in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco, York County, Maine.
No information about Stephen apart from his birth. The Stephen Porter who died in Fryeburg, Maine in 1798 was a doctor, so, not him. A Stephen Porter (1808-1883) is buried in Bridgton; maybe he was a son of the elder Stephen.

David married Catherine W. McBain/McBane/McBean (1797-6 Apr 1887) from New Brunswick in 1826. They had at least six children:

The family lived at first in St. Mary, Kent County, New Brunswick. In 1832 they moved to Hodgdon, Aroostook County, Maine, where the 1840 census listed them with a boy and girl age 10-14 (Stephen and Maria), two boys age 5-9 (Eber and an unknown), and two girls under 5 (Mary and Leah). The 1850 census seems to have missed them.
In 1860, the family consisted of David (66, farmer), Catherine (63), Stephen (34), Eber (26), and Leah M. (22). In 1870, son Stephen A. (43) was head of household, which contained David and Catherine (both shaving a bit off their ages), Stephen’s wife Susan J. (33), their children Florence H. (6) and Leander K. (3), and a hired hand from New Brunswick named Zachariah Brown (20). Son Eber and his wife and infant son were living two houses away.
David died in Hodgdon in 1874, and is buried in Hodgdon Cemetery. Catherine died in 1887 and is buried with him. Some of their children are in the same cemetery.
No information about Kimball apart from his birth.
Eber was a farmer and a millman. He married Elizabeth H. Bates (1818-22 Nov 1910) from New Brunswick. They lived for decades in Calais, Washington County, Maine, at the eastern tip of the state and just across the river from Canada. They reportedly had 13 children, only two of whom were still alive by 1900. There are records of six:

Eber was in the 1840 through 1860 censuses for Calais. In 1840 Eber, in his thirties, had a wife in her twenties and two girls age 10-15 and 15-20. The girls were too old to be Elizabeth’s children. Maybe they were orphaned nieces.
In 1850, Eber (40) and Elisabeth (31) had children Eber (9), Erastus (7), Amanda Bates (6), and Olivia M. (3). Eber Jr. died later that year.
In 1860, Eber (52) and Elizabeth (42) had children Erastus (18), Amanda (17), Olivia M. (13), and Charles E. (3 months).
The 1870 census showed Eber (60) and Elizabeth (50) in Princeton, Washington County with two boarders, and in 1880 they were there alone.
Eber died of heart failure in Princeton in 1892. He’s buried in Princeton Cemetery. Elizabeth was living with Olivia and family in Princeton in 1900 and 1910. She died in 1910 and is buried with Eber.
Son Erastus enlisted on 29 Dec 1863 as a private in Company H of the 9th Maine Volunteer Infantry. He died of battle injuries during the Battle of Cold Harbor in Virginia.
